Solar Bottle

designer: Alberto Meda + Francisco Gomez Paz 2006
Solar Bottle is a low-cost container capable of disinfecting water for people consuming microbiologically contaminated raw water; based in the SODIS (Solar Water Disinfection) system. The PET container has a dual face: a transparent face for maximum UV-A rays collection and a alluminium face that absorbs the infrared sunrays augmenting the temperature and improving disinfection. The reduced thickness assists the transportation and the storage. The handle integrates the angular regulation needed to improve sun exposure depending in which latitude of the world the process is executed.Looking for a producer

Green Music MP3 Player
Somebody has to be the first post, looks like my lucky day... This is my concept for "Green Music" MP3 player. This MP3 player is powered by the heat produced from the human body. This is possible thanks to the scientific advancements in thermoelectric generators.
The fact that the device is powered by your body heat promotes the idea of getting into a physically active lifestyle. Also, the fact that most people use their MP3 player primarily for such physical activities makes a perfect fit for this technology.
Along with music capabilities, this unit will incorporate a 2 way radio feature for activities involving more than one person. Such as snowboarding, bicycling, paint ball, etc... I can also see these features being useful for many other fields such as construction and bicycle patrol police.
The "Green Music" MP3 player consists of two reverse able ear pieces. One ear unit would handle the interface of the music while the other would control the two way radio feature as well as serve as the housing for the system memory and upload (USB) technology. The two headsets would communicate with each other via Bluetooth technology. A possible expansion of this product may be a use for wireless headset for cell phones.
Personalization and establishing an emotional connection with the consumer is important. Therefore an easily customizable part to this product could be the buttons (plastic plates that depresses to push the button sensors underneath). Such as the wood button look shown above. This would allow the consumer to "sport" the gear that lets them express a little something about themselves.
Any suggestions????? PLEASE???
